There are seasons in life where everything feels like it’s “in the works,” simmering quietly on the back burner. And then there are seasons like this one—where suddenly, all the things you’ve been building, dreaming about, and whispering prayers over decide to come alive at the same time.
It’s a lot… but it’s good stuff. The kind of good that fills your chest, steadies your breath, and reminds you that timing, even when chaotic, is often divine.
🎙️ Wicked Honest Drops January 30th
After months of planning, recording, re-recording, laughing, crying, and trying to figure out how the hell to use half the tech involved, my YouTube show/podcast Wicked Honest is officially launching on January 30th.
This show is exactly what it sounds like—raw, real, unfiltered conversations about writing, relationships, trauma, hometown stories, creativity, reinvention, and everything in between. It’s Boston-born, heart-led, and absolutely wicked honest.

My New Poetry Book: The Heroin Addict’s Wife
In the coming weeks, my second poetry collection, The Heroin Addict’s Wife, will finally be out in the world. This book has lived inside me for years—a life once lived, reshaped through memory, healing, and craft.
This collection is raw but hopeful, honest but tender. It’s written for anyone who has ever loved someone lost in addiction, for anyone who has carried a story they didn’t ask for, and for anyone who has survived loving hard.
And because this time of year can be brutal for people who are struggling, 100% of the proceeds throughout the winter will be donated to Pine Street Inn, helping support those experiencing homelessness during the coldest and often most dangerous months of the year.
This feels like the right way to honor where this book came from and the lives behind it.

Writing the Wound™ — From Pain to Page
Right after the New Year, my online course Writing the Wound: From Pain to Page will be ready for sign-ups. This program is something I’ve been quietly building for a long time—born from years of nursing, advocacy, storytelling, and my own journey of turning trauma into art.
This course is for anyone who has a story inside them that hurts… but also wants to heal.
It blends writing craft with emotional truth, offering:
- Weekly video lessons
- Guided prompts
- Reflective exercises
- Fillable and printable workbooks
- A nurturing community
- A gentle structure to help you finally tell the story you’ve been carrying
I built this course because I know what writing can do. I’ve lived it. And I want to help others find that same transformation.
Sign-ups will open soon—stay tuned.

The Holidays: Joy, Grief, and Everything Between
And of course… all of this is happening in the middle of the holiday season.
Once upon a time, Christmas was my favorite—sparkling lights, music in every room, the kind of magic you can feel in your bones. But as the years move on and loved ones leave us, the holidays can begin to feel heavier. Some days are beautiful; others are harder than anyone talks about out loud.
If this time of year feels complicated for you, please know you aren’t alone. Some people struggle quietly, some loudly, and some somewhere in between. That’s part of why giving back this season is so important to me. It’s why the proceeds from The Heroin Addict’s Wife are going directly to Pine Street Inn—because no one should feel forgotten in the cold.
Gratitude, Always
So yes… everything is happening at once.
A podcast.
A poetry book.
A course built from the deepest parts of my heart.
And a holiday season that asks us all to hold both joy and grief at the same time.
But I’m excited—more than excited. I’m grateful.
Thank you for being here, for reading, for listening, for supporting my work, and for walking beside me as these projects finally come to life.
Big things are coming, and I can’t wait to share every bit of it with you.
— Dianne
